I share with you, on this song, my courage to DREAM, to actually go after my dreams. To crush the stereotype that Black people can only play sports. Not only that, but more importantly, the mindset of a lot of Black people who feel that's all they can do is play sports...anything else is unrealistic. 'This is my Journey' tells people they can achieve ANYTHING with the use of their mind regardless of what the system narrates.
